The Heritage on Main in downtown Waynesboro, VA recently got new ownership, a facelift, a new menu and a Chef that all combined, create a fulfilling experience.
Once known for the local band and DJ joint to kick your heels up, they have now become a place to chill, have a glass of wine and delight your palette and tummy with some really tasty options.
When ordering a starter we chose the Trio Dips not knowing what to expect. The warm pita bread, tzatziki, hummus, basil pesto, olives, cornichons, cucumbers all filled the oversized platter and were extremely refreshing and enjoyable. The ravioli was rich, creamy and filling and is a personal favorite of my sons. My daughter loves the blackened salmon with avocado sandwich. The pecan crusted salmon “was amazing, as was the Ahi tuna salad”, per clients of ours who dined in and also commented “great food”. The steak and gnocchi created a raving fan out of myself and is what I order anytime we choose The Heritage.
However, their simpler dishes, such as the wings, sliders and salads have all gotten very good reviews from our Team. Don’t overlook downtown Waynesboro when considering a meal out, there are many good options to choose from and The Heritage on Main is definitely in the top.
