This locally owned, community business dinner was a combination of a “drop in” and a “pop up” for the KK Homes Team. We decided on National Plant A Seed Day to continue what we love to do, planting seeds where we love to work and be.
We started the day giving out seed packets at multiple local nurseries in the area, we ended it feeding multiple patrons of the locally owned and operated Valley Smokehouse in Staunton, VA. Arriving at the Smokehouse at 4:30 pm, we grabbed a table for many and met with the Manager to initiate the plan. The wait staff handed out seed packets, notifying each party that was there or arrived during a 2 plus hour window that they would be receiving their meal complimentary of KK Homes as a Thank you for supporting local.
If you have not eaten at The Valley Smokehouse, you are missing out. Whether you are there for the brisket, or the seafood you will leave completely satisfied and already planning your return. Mouth watering, tender meat, packed full of flavor and some of the best crab legs and shrimp you have ever cracked in to. (pics)
Our Team enjoyed this experience of feeding so many grateful people, supporting the friendly staff and reminding people that eating local “feeds” our local economy.
