Yippie PIE Yay!
Its one of our most looked forward to events of the year…Pie Day! Kathleen has been hosting the annual Client Pie Day event since November of 2015. Years prior, Pie Day was held at our KK Homes office but due to COVID we had to get creative and think outside the box! For the past two years, our team has hosted a drive through style event at Fishersville United Methodist Church. Being able to individually see and catch up with all of our clients, their families and pets during this event is one of the highlight’s of our year. We handed out over 420 pies!! Every year we make it a priority to partner with different local programs/fundraisers to help bring awareness and support to the community. This year we partnered with the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, and asked our clients to bring non-perishable food items. With the help and support from our amazing clients, we were able to collect over 847 pounds of canned food, which provided a total of 670 meals to local families in need. Our clients’ generosity is just one of the many reasons why we LOVE them SO!
We love to show our gratitude every chance we can, and are thankful for each and every one of our amazing clients. Thanks for making this annual tradition our most successful one yet!
